CALL FOR PAPERS
Abstracts for papers are invited for presentation at the international conference on new materialisms. It is our intention to organize this two day event around key note presentations, invited critical discussants (day one), panels, art, and paper presentations (day 2) by doctoral and postdoctoral researchers. One of the aims of this conference is to enable transversal dialogues, thus the paper presentations (15 minutes) should aspire to be in conversation with issues and topics of new materialisms, as well with the invited critical discussants, key notes and panels.
We seek thus paper proposals for day 2 from various fields, addressing older forms of materialisms and the novelties of new materialisms, but also engaging with phenomenology, ecological humanities, human-animal-studies, critical posthumanisms, spectacular realisms, critical disability studies, queer and crip theory, materialist feminist theory, Deleuze-inspired studies, anti-racist and queer science, material cultures, technoscience, new biologism, ontological politics, media materialities, post-dialectics, non-teleological darwinisms, zoontology, the post-natural, the transcorporeal, naturecultures, material-semiotics, biocultures, life after life, post-constructionism, agential realism, posthumanist ethics and other forms of post-humanities.
