Each year there is a conference organized with both international and national key note speakers. At the conference, workshop sessions are organized where mid-term PhD-students are given the opportunity to present their 60% final manuscripts, and PhD-students in the final phase present their 95% final manuscript. These sessions are organized to resemble the defence, and a critical discussant/opponent (senior researcher) discusses the manuscript with the student, and a panel of senior researchers, including visiting scholars from abroad, produces a written report with advice as to the finishing of the manuscript.

Within a joint series of higher seminars and video conference seminars are arranged between six and eight times per year.
